Bobby grew up in the Beaumont area and began his employment with Cassity Jones Lumber upon graduation from Texas A & M University in 1977. He has held the position of General Manager at three different Cassity Jones locations, those being Carthage, Henderson and Longview. Throughout his life, Bobby has acquired an abundance of skill and expertise in construction from the slab through the finish-out. He has been a mentor to many who have gone on to take leadership positions within the Cassity Jones organization. He and his wife, Gail, have one daughter, Natalie, who is expecting their first grandchild in the fall of 2015. Bobby and Gail are members of First United Methodist Church in Longview. He enjoys gardening, fishing, hunting and cooking.
Gil has 37 years’ experience in both commercial and residential sales and service within the building supply industry. He has been an account manager for Cassity Jones since November of 2000. He’s been married to his wife, Mary, for almost four decades and they have two grown children and two grandchildren. He enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends.
Brian grew up in Longview and graduated from Spring Hill High School. He started working for Cassity Jones in 2001 as a CDL driver. He then became part of the contractor support team and ultimately assumed the role of contractor account manager. Brian feels that he has benefitted greatly from his experience in all facets of the business. Brian has three children, Landon, Allie and Cole. Brian enjoys camping, hunting and being involved in his kid’s activities.
Rudy grew up in Kilgore, Texas, where he attended school from Pre-K to high school. He began his construction career at East Texas Lumber at the age of 15. He worked off and on there for 4 years pulling loads, making deliveries and working the counter. After high school Rudy attended The University of Texas at Tyler, where he received his B.S. in Industrial Technology with an emphasis on Construction Management in 2010. After graduating college, Rudy went to work for Halliburton where he was a coiled tubing engineer for 3 years. Rudy started at Cassity Jones in 2014. At Cassity, he was Contractor Support at the Longview location. He was then offered a position as a Sales Coordinator at the Henderson location and eventually made his way back to the Longview location, where he is currently serving as an Account Manager. Rudy has a wife, Kristina Galvan, 2 step-kids Lexi (11), Hayden (10) and his 2-year-old baby girl, Le’Lanna Elise Galvan. Rudy enjoys spending time with his family and friends grilling and listening to music. He loves soccer, football, baseball and pretty much every sport. He also enjoys hunting and fishing.
Ryne grew up in Diana where he graduated from high school as a 4th generation New Diana Eagle. Ryne graduated from LeTourneau University with a Business Administration degree. He started working for Cassity Jones in April of 2019. He and his wife, Kamryn, enjoy taking their two dogs, Boog and Shoog, to the dog park, being outdoors, and sports of all kinds.
Lee has been involved in the building supply industry for over 30 years. He joined the Cassity Jones team in 2005 as a specialist in the Weathershield window and door line. Lee has a BBA from SFA and an MBA from LeTourneau. He and his wife, Kathy, have three daughters and two grandchildren. They are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Gilmer. Lee is a private pilot and enjoys flying and powerlifting.
Jody has been employed with the Cassity Jones organization since 1997. He started on the sales floor handling retail sales and, in 2007, was promoted to General Manager of the Henderson operation. Jody is a deacon at Grandview Missionary Baptist Church and is a director for the Northeast Texas Fishers of Men National Tournament Trail ministry. He has been married to his wife, Karen, since 1996 and enjoys fishing and hunting.
George Childers is a helpful, big friendly guy. You will usually catch him joking around about something. George has been in the building materials industry for most of his working life. He started at Cassity Jones as a teenager, then moved to Cabot, Arkansas as a young adult to pursue a career with Whit Davis Lumber. He eventually came back home and took a position managing a Senox branch in Longview. When the opportunity arose for George to rejoin the team at Cassity Jones, he jumped at the chance. Both George’s father, Walker, and sister, Bailey, have worked for Cassity Jones in the past so it’s fair to say the whole family has the utmost respect for the Cassity Jones crew. George loves to golf and fish, and you can sometimes find him playing Magic the Gathering or working in his yard. He lives in Longview with his lovely wife – Ang, and his super cute calico – Cheesecake.
Bobby is a fourth generation East Texan who grew up in the Tyler area. He has been in the construction supply business since 1989 and has held most every position from loader to store manager. Bobby began his career with Cassity Jones as general manager of the Marshall operation in 2001. He is a 1991 graduate of the University of Texas at Tyler and attends Rose Heights Church in Tyler. Bobby and his wife, Shelly, have three grown children and one grandson. He enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, working on his land, golfing and riding ATV’s.
Terry has been in the building materials business since 1970 and has held every imaginable position from janitor to manager. He has been with Cassity Jones since 2005 and currently is an account manager in the Terrell facility. Terry has extensive experience in all lines of residential building materials. He has been married for over 40 years. He and his wife have three children and seven grandchildren. Terry enjoys woodworking, baseball, anything to do with old cars and attending church with family.
Otilio “OT” is a native of Ellis County and graduated from Red Oak High School. He grew up in the construction business working alongside his dad who is a contractor. He has several years of experience in the home building industry. Prior to joining Cassity Jones, he was the Controller for a regional home builder and has also held various sales positions targeting home builders. He is fluent in Spanish which he has found to be very beneficial in serving his clients’ needs. OT and his wife, Debra reside in Waxahachie with their children. OT enjoys spending time with his family, yard work, golfing and fishing.
Ron has been in the building materials industry for over 35 years. He has extensive knowledge of products and loves the daily challenge of learning more about new materials and processes. Ron is beginning his 24th year as account manager for the Cassity Jones organization. His favorite part of the job is meeting new builders and framers.
Ron is quick to share his knowledge and expertise with the other team members and keeps the atmosphere fun and enjoyable.
Dylan was born and raised around Ennis Tx. He attended college at Tarleton State University in Stephenville for Ag Business. While attending college he was a member of Alpha Gamma Rho, the National Agriculture Fraternity. Starting with Cassity Jones in April of 2018, made him the third generation in his family to work in construction and the building materials distribution field. He enjoys golfing, hunting, fishing, and anything outside. He is eager to grow and develop his business.
Colby was born and raised in Tyler, Texas. He played college baseball and graduated from UT Dallas in 2010. Beginning at the age of 15 and throughout high school and college, Colby worked for his Dad, a builder, during the summer time and on weekends. He has been with Cassity Jones Lumber since 2010 and has worked in various positions in the company. Colby was an account manager at the Cassity Jones in Tyler for 6 years, until his promotion to Store Manager in 2018. He has been married to his wife, Anna, since 2010 and they have two boys together, Maddox & Coen. Colby enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, fishing and playing golf.
Jason Allison was born and raised in Tyler, TX. He has been in the building industry for 10 years doing everything from framing houses, custom trim work and remodels. He started his own trim and remodel company in 2016. Newley married in February 2018 to Kayla Allison. He enjoys spending time with family, golfing, fishing and hunting as much as possible in his spare time.
Blake has been with Cassity Jones Lumber in Tyler since 2003, previously serving as contractor support and currently as Account Manager. He is also in charge of coordinating all activities for the annual corporate-wide Cassity Jones golf tournament. Blake has deep roots in the east Texas area. He and his family reside in the Concord Community where his parents and grandparents have resided for many years. He has been married to his wife, Jodie, for 16 years. They have two children, Clay and Chloe. Blake attends Concord Cumberland Presbyterian Church and enjoys golf and spending time outdoors.
Stan was born in Amarillo and moved to East Texas as a teenager. His construction career began upon graduation from high school. He has had experiences in framing, construction management and general contracting. Stan began working at Cassity Jones in 2008 in the commercial material sales area and has most recently transitioned to engineered wood products. Stan enjoys learning the new CAD technology that aids in building material design and estimating.
Abraham is from the Chapel Hill area. His knowledge of the lumber industry began during childhood when he shadowed a much beloved carpenter, his father, John Bragg in many projects. Abraham currently resides in Whitehouse and enjoys tackling DIY projects around the house, golf, and working out in his spare time.
Shelby Stubblefield joined the Cassity Jones Lumber team in January of 2018 as a part of the Contractor Support staff. Shelby is from Chireno Texas but has spent most of her life in the Tyler area. She has a degree in Political Science from The University of Texas at Tyler but decided to pursue a career in sales. Shelby’s family has a ranch in Chireno where she spends most weekends working cattle or helping her father in the hay field. She currently lives in Tyler with her dachshund, Esmerelda.
Dennis is the General Manager of the Bossier City branch of Cassity Jones Lumber. He began his career in the industry as a teenager with Gilmer Lumber where he worked for 11 years. He then worked for a builder for several years before accepting a position of Contractor Sales Rep at Cassity Jones Lumber in 2004. In 2009, Dennis became Operations Manager at Cassity Jones Longview. In 2011, Dennis moved back to Tyler as the General Manager of the Tyler operation. After 7 years in Tyler, he is now the General Manager of our Bossier City location. Dennis and his wife, Kimberly, have two sons, John and Chris.
Debra has been a team member at Cassity Jones Lumber since 2001. She is a window specialist and enjoys working with builders and their customers aiding in millwork selections for their homes. Prior to Cassity Jones, Debra was a window manufactures representative. Her love of the building industry began in High School drafting classes and continued with architectural design courses in college. She enjoys spending time with her husband on the farm tending to livestock and working in the Women’s Ministry at her church. She and her husband have one grown son and two grandchildren.
Bill was born and raised in Nebraska. He has been involved in the construction business all of his adult life. He and his wife moved to the Shreveport/Bossier City area to be near her parents over 40 years ago and have been there ever since. After framing houses and managing a construction company during the 70’s and 80’s, Bill took a job in outside sales with Wick’s lumber company. He also worked for Huttig Sash and Door before joining the team at Allen Commercial Door. He and his wife, Cheryl, have one son. He enjoys the outdoors and loves to hunt, fish, golf and work in the yard.
Mike Smith has been in the building industry for 30 years. He installed stucco and stone 25 years before going to work for Howard Lumber. Mike started with Cassity Jones in May of 2019 as our Delivery Manager. He strived every day to make our team better and stronger with a higher level of customer service. Mike accepted a new position as a Contractor Account Rep for us in November of 2019. Mike has strengthened our account rep group with his knowledge and hard work. Mike enjoys bow hunting, fishing, and cooking with the family. Mike has two sons and one daughter that he spends a lot of his weekends with.
